· 730PM President Ron Botterbusch called the meeting to order. President Ron introduced Grace Spahr Snelbaker and Connie Miller who attended the meeting. Grace is a direct descendent of our Spahr Springhouse/Distillery Project.
· Treasurer Bob Merkert gave the financial report. Motion made to approve report made by Bill Zech and Dr Drawbaugh. All members approved.
· The meeting was then turned over to Brett Pfleiger, our Webmaster. Brett, with the help of Joyce and Susan, reviewed the GDHS website with the members. Each menu item was introduced, reviewed and talked about. After the presentation, time was given for questions. We thank Brett for his technical logistics in making this presentation possible.
· Dr Drawbaugh, our Archivist gave the Archive report. Mr. Miller donated two Bibles, one written in German dated 1828 and the other written in English dated 1860, to the Society. Bob Kehr donated to the Society pictures he had reproduced from glass negatives from his Father Philip Fahs. (Camera Shop on North Beaver Street in York City processed the pictures. The shop will take each glass negative and reproduce the picture onto a disc for $5.00.)
· Gayle Heagy, our Assistant Archivist informed us while she and Joyce were going through papers from the Spahr property, they found a catalog about the Bell Motor Company located in York Pa. Gayle contacted a company in Canada that are trying to rebuild this car and informed them of our Archive find. She then copied the book and mailed to them. / The Jacob Joner safe should be removed from Mrs. Elickers basement by mid April. / Bill Zech donated a 48 star flag carried by him in a Boy Scout parade in York about 1947 or 1948.
