The two-piece secretary, several wooden sewing boxes, and Leah Pflieger's coin box (her name is written on bottom), currently held by David R. Stephenson III, are believed to have been made by Alexander W. Pflieger. Received an Exhorter's License: This may certify that Alexander W. Pflieger the bearer, having been duly recommended is hereby authorized to hold meetings for prayer and exhortation in the Methodist Episcopal Church. First M.E.
