Also known by John Phillip Pflieger Another source (which one??) referred to a Mary Margareth Pflieger as Phillip's daughter. The following is from notes by Margaret E. Pflieger: "Philip who died in late January or early February 1791, to Martin Ebert and Simon Minnich, leaving to survive him a widow Barbara and three children, Eve, born October 1787, Margaret, born November 1789, and Catherine, born December 1790, for whom on petition of their mother, the Orphans Court March 27, 1792, Orphans' Court docket F page 346, appointed Martin Ebert guardian. Their mother, Barbara, was apparently dead at the time of the partition proceedings. She was a daughter of Henry Messersmith who died prior to April 30, 1787, and her sister, whose name is given as Margaret, was the wife of George Pflieger [which George??], as is shown by a deed from the heirs of Henry Messersmith dated April 30, 1787, recorded in Record Book 2 [illegible symbol] 522." The following is from will probated Mar 27, 1792: Eve Pflieger, 4 years last Oct; Margaret 2 years last Nov, Catherine 1 year last Dec. |
