GDHS Meeting Minutes February 19, 2004
-7PM Board of Directors Meeting.
-730PM President Ron Botterbusch called the meeting to order.
-Secretary Susan Forrey read the minutes. Norma Botterbusch asked the minutes be amended to add the name Judy Worley to the Refreshment Committee. Ron Botterbusch asked the minutes be amended to add the Officer positions to the three (3) names that are authorized to sign the checks President Ronald Botterbusch Secretary Susan Forrey Treasurer Robert Merkert. Motion to accept the minutes with the two (2) amendments was made by Mel Miller and Norma Botterbusch. Attending members agreed.
-Robert Merkert gave treasurers report. Balance as of the end of January is $3604.13. Motion to approve the report made by Gayle Heagy and Susan Forrey. Attending members agreed.
-Archives report by Dr. Drawbaugh Charles F Miller of 29 Blackberry Road Dover donated to the Archives a 1936 picture of Dover Borough School students; a list of contributors to the perpetual fund to the Lenhart-Gerber Cemetery; UCC Church 75th Anniversary book dated September 17 1978; a Catechism book dated 1915; a book concerning the York Flood of 1933; a land map of Hershey Heights.
-Assistant Archives report by Gayle Heagy discussed the three (3) Archive forms from Mr. Richard Banz, Curator of York Heritage Trust. Gayle revised Mr. Banz New Donor Form copy to fit our criteria.
-Web page report given by Brett Pfleiger listed a number of changes, updates and articles on the ever-changing website.
OLD BUSINESS:
· Ken Brown would like to have a meeting concerning the Blacksmith Shop project. Susan Forrey will call Ken and set the meeting.
· Sheila Harkins will be contacted by the Secretary to get the status of the Blood Root Project.
NEW BUSINESS:
Motion to adjourn by Madelyn Shermeyer and all agreed.
